  • Create 10 tools by combining 2+ existing tools to create a new tool.
  • Hybridize tools from different spaces in your house (ex. garage/office, yard/kitchen)
  • Draw to describe as completely as possible.  If you write a note about the tool, it is submissive to the drawing.
  • Use 1/3 of a sketchbook page for each tool
  • They are supposed to be wacky and nonsensical.
This is a drawing exercise, rooted in divergent thinking and unexpected possibility.  I take this seriously and so should you!
