									<div>Two Choices:</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Assignment 1:&nbsp; Download an app for your phone/tablet like Stop Motion Studio.&nbsp; Make a short stop motion using whatever you have around the house.&nbsp; Think about story telling and your situation.&nbsp; You can do this without an app if you want.&nbsp; We can sequence the photos, but it is much harder and the apps usually provide onion skinning.&nbsp; I've used Stop Motion Studio and it is pretty intuitive.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>https://apps.apple.com/us/app/stop-motion-studio/id441651297</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>The theme for this short should be <strong>Social Distance</strong>.&nbsp; Lets get at our lived experience.&nbsp; Use what you have.&nbsp; Bootstrap!&nbsp; Rubber bands, binder clips, masking tape can all be used to hold your phone in place.&nbsp; You need to secure the camera otherwise we' will get sea sick. We can edit it later when we are back if you have a few scenes.&nbsp; You can obviously edit at home if you have iMovie or similar.&nbsp; Things like erasers can be characters.&nbsp; Don't forget lighting and sets.&nbsp; Build a stage.&nbsp; Or use live actors... like the film Luminaris that we watched.&nbsp; Anything you want to try, but stick to that theme of <strong>Social Distance</strong>.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Assignment 2:&nbsp; Create two new characters for an already existing animated series/movie.&nbsp; Draw out your characters on paper or digitally.&nbsp; Front, Back, and Side views.&nbsp; You need to write out your character's bio and potential plot lines.&nbsp; Also write a short synopsis of the show/movie you are working with.&nbsp; Bios should be 2-3 paragraphs with backstory, stats, etc...&nbsp; Invent one or two potential plot lines for your new characters in the world of your existing series.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><em>I will update you on turn-in requirements this week.&nbsp; Stay tuned.</em></div><br>
