During the ceremony, we will read the names of graduates from two microphones, one on each side of the stage. Yells, cheers, or other inappropriate noise after a student’s name is read completely drowns out the name of the next student receiving a diploma. Not only does the noise disturb others, but it also robs another family of their right to hear the name of their graduate. 

Parking for the commencement exercises will be available in the student and faculty parking lots. Please submit an online request to arrange parking and seating for handicapped guests. 

Graduation is a ceremony of dignity, and guests are expected to dress and act appropriately. Please do not stand on the chairs to take pictures. RULE: We will not permit any photographers (family or otherwise) to approach the stage during the ceremony for any reason. Of course, we will permit pictures as the graduating class enters the stadium. The stage will be left in order following the ceremony so family pictures may be taken.
