Info on College Entrance Testing
- Attend the College Admissions Testing Info Night for Sophomores and their parents. Held in early January at PVPHS.
- Understand the differences between the ACT and the SAT
- Choosing between the ACT and SAT
- Find out if the colleges that you are considering require SAT Subject tests. Talk to your counselor to determine if you are a candidate for taking a Subject Test in May or June of your Sophomore or Junior year.
Preparing For College Entrance Exams
- Read the newspaper. Reading the editorial section can help prepare students to write persuasive essays.
- The CCC offers practice ACT and SAT tests several times throughout the year. Please listen to the Daily Announcements for upcoming opportunities.
