Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, and sacrifice.
HARD WORK PAYS OFF
AVID is a great class to:
-organize your materials
-make a plan as to when and how you will study
-keep an awareness of your grades and pinpoint problems
-come up with solutions when things are going south
TUTORIALS are great for:
-asking questions about concepts you struggle with
-learning from classmates
-helping classmates figure out problems
-becoming aware of how much you actually know
The TRF is great for:
-figuring out what specifically you are struggling with
-helping the tutor prepare to help you
-explaining to others your point of confusion
Tutorial days: Tuesdays and Fridays
Minimum Days: Wednesdays
TRFs due: Mondays and Thursdays by 6pm
Grade check due: every two weeks
Agenda due: DAILY
Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason so few engage in it.
