TRYOUT INFORMATION
Students must have proof of current physical with them in order to participate in any sport tryouts.
Physicals are good for one year.
July 15-17, 2024 from 2pm until 5pm each day. Meet on the Pen High tennis Courts. Bring water and plan on playing tie-breakers.

Congratulations to Isa Bringas for winning the Bay League Singles Title for the third year in a row.
Isa, a senior, has committed to play at UC Davis in the fall.
ABOUT OUR TEAM
Welcome 2021 Girls Tennis Fans! We are planning on having a season this year—but only in the Spring! We have to play because we are THE DEFENDING CIF OPEN DIVISION CHAMPIONS. More news soon. We have 60 tennis players in the program – possibly the biggest in the state – with talent up and down the teams. All three teams, no doubt, will have winning records. All players, more importantly, will come away with lasting memories.

This Fall Senior Kimberly Hance signed a letter to play at UCLA. She will follow not only in her brother Connor’s footsteps, but also Ena Shibahara who is currently ranked #20 in the world in doubles. Congrats Kimmi!
PHILOSOPHY
We want all players to have a positive experience, to relish competition, and cherish the camaraderie of being a part of a team. We want to have fun, but as athletes, we want to win – win with good sportsmanship. Setting personal and team goals of improving both our tennis skills and our mental focus will ultimately result in more wins. We recognize that players are students first, and we try to accommodate school-related academic conflicts, but we value team commitment.
