The August 2023 US News and World Report high school rankings includes Peninsula in the top 50 high schools in California and #324 in the nation! This expansive edition ranks more schools across America than ever before, evaluating more than 17,700 public high schools on how well they serve all of their students, regardless of economic or ethnic background.
2023 - 2024 Rankings
Palos Verdes Peninsula High is ranked #324 in the National Rankings and earned a gold medal. Schools are ranked based on their performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college.
#17 among Los Angeles area schools
The 2023 Niche rankings place Peninsula High as the #3 traditional public high school in Los Angeles County, #13 in California and #107in the Nation out of the over 19,000 high schools that were ranked. PVPHS was also ranked #70 in STEM for all California high schools.
