REGARDING SCHOOL CLOSURE - UPDATE
Regarding Participation Grades
Your weekly participation grade is based on you meeting your weekly requirement for attending Zoom meetings. If there are multiple Zooms for your class in a week, you may not be required at all of them. If you are unable to attend any Zoom meetings in a week, you are expected to visit me during open office hours. We can discuss some of what you will be missing. Questions or concerns? Email me before your first class meeting of the week.
Guided Discussion on Zoom - Each week each class will have a minimum of two specific discussion/lecture times set aside on Zoom (the situation is evolving). Students are expected to attend all class Zoom meetings, and MUST be present for at least one class meeting each week. Class discussions are screen recorded and will be posted online within 48 hours of the discussion.

Zoom rules
- Must be sitting up. (no lying in bed - on your floor - on your couch)
- Must be dressed appropriately
- Use self-restraint. Even though I can mute you, if we are having a productive discussion I don't want to need to mute you. Don't make me mute you.
- Your must identify yourself with your name on your Zoom setup. If you are unable to change your Zoom setup name I will ask your name in the room. If you don't respond to my request for your identity I may eject you from the room.
Week of March 23, open sessions, all classes welcome: Monday, March 23, 9-1015am & 12:15-1:30pm; Wednesday, March 25, 9:30-10:15am (check back to see if additional open hours get added). See your class page for specific class meeting schedules.
