Applications for our summer Advanced Internship Program, providing meaningful, hands-on career experiences for our high school students, are due March 8. Now in its second year, this program is possible thanks to a partnership and Strong Workforce grant from the California Department of Education as well as support from Peninsula Education Foundation.

Advanced Internship is a six-week summer program in which students:

Earn five weighted A-G approved elective credits on the high school transcript

Work 15-20 hours per week in a professional setting

Complete relevant coursework through LA Harbor College

Participate in mandatory check-ins throughout the summer

Apply and interview for placement

Present their work at a culminating Showcase Day
