Description
Human Anatomy & Physiology includes the major systems of the body, such as integumentary, muscular, skeletal, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, nervous, and urogenital. Students will work in small groups on multiple mini-labs, and analyze the results, complete multiple dissections with written reports. Students will Draw/color cells, tissue, organs, and systems. There will be assessments that include MC questions, as well as labeling body systems.

Things to remember, add to your notes: 
1st shell - Max 2 electrons
2nd shell - Max of 8 electrons
3rd shell - Max of 18 electrons ONLY if there is a 4th shell.
If the 3rd shell is the highest (valence) shell, Max of 8 electrons.
 
To determine the number of electrons in the Valence Shell:
1. Never more than 8
2. Subtract the electrons in the lower shells, what is left?
3. ONLY draw the Valence (no more than 8) in a Lewis Structure. No circles. Pair them up if more than 4 for easier counting.
