PRINT THAT ONE OUT TOO.

5/7:  Check solutions to last nights HW with the ones I posted.  Then try pg. 521#10,13,15,16,17,20-22.  Hint: If the number under the square root is negative then there is no real solution.  MEMORIZE the Quadratic Formula!

5/8:  I'll post a video sometime on Friday morning showing how to do the HW problems and also going over some common mistakes I saw on the quiz.  Watch and learn!

5/11:  Watch the video "The Discriminant".  Then do pg. 521 #25-35 odd.

5/12:  Check your solutions to last nights HW with the ones I posted.  I'm having trouble uploading videos so, I'd like you for now to look at Ex. 5 on pg. 520.  Then try pg. 521#37 - 44 on solving quadratics by any method.  My advice is to try to factor first and only if you can't factor do you go use the quadratic formula.  In a problem like #40, you can use square roots, since there is no x term.  Don't forget the +/- !!!

I was able to get the video to upload!  Please watch and try the HW.

5/13:  Check your solutions to pg. 521 #37-44 with the ones I posted.  Then I'd like you to start reviewing.  Please start on the Chapter Review on pg. 534 #1-13.

5/14:  Please continue the review, pg. 535#14-32.  I'll post solutions to all problems later today.  Solutions are posted!  Please study these solutions to help you remember all the concepts in Ch. 9.  I'll post a Practice test on Friday that you can use to see if you get everything.  It will look very similar the the real test, which I will post on Tuesday.

5/15:  Print out and try the Ch. 9 Practice Test

5/18:  Check your solutions to the Practice Test with the ones I posted.  I have also posted the 9.1-9.3 quiz solutions.  Email me if you want to go over anything on zoom.  I MADE A MISTAKE ON THE SOLUTIONS FOR #18.  THE DISCRIMINANT SHOULD BE 0, THEREFORE....ONE SOLUTION.

5/19:  Study a little more today.  I will post the ch. 9 Test on Wednesday.

5/20:  Ch. 9 Test is posted as a pdf file.  Please print and complete and email back to me by Friday.
