Zoom Today, Monday

I will have an optional, office hours Zoom session from 3-4 today. If you have any questions or just want to talk, join. Mute will be off. Just stop in for a few minutes and leave --or stay.

I am putting up grades for your Outliers essay in the gradebook in two hours. I want to talk about those essays on Monday. You need to join either the 3 p.m. or 4:00 session.

Zoom invitations will be emailed. Please do not share the Meeting ID or password with anyone outside of your classmates.

3/14 New Info Re: April 6 Homeowrk

All classes should read Crazy for the Storm over the break. Finish it by April 6.

AP Classes:

In the Photo Album section of the Welcome Page, I will be posting an 8-page packet called The Edificationer's Guide to Crazy for the Storm. (plus a three-pager explaining Loose, Periodic and Balanced sentence types.)

If you would rather get a hard copy straight from me:

I will also be handing out the packets at Hi-Fi Espresso on Catalina Ave. in Redondo Beach from 10-12 on Monday, March 16th--not tomorrow--and on Monday, March 23 from 10-12.

I might have a couple extra books that I will bring to the coffee shop, if you never got one.

Also, there are packets under my mailbox in the attendance office. They are open, I believe, Monday morning.

The packet is due on April 6.

3/13/20 Update

Dear Classes,

I will be communicating by email. Last night I informed the AP classes to pick up a packet for Crazy for the Storm from 8 to noon today. They are positioned under my mailbox in the attendance office.

I will be at Hi-Fi Espresso on Catalina in Redondo Beach from 10 to 12 Monday, March 15th and March 22nd if you did not get your packet.

I will be checking emails everyday from 10-12 (My so-called Office Hours)

Reading and Writing Skills Class need to read Crazy for the Storm over the three weeks. We will do writing when we get back.
