It’s that time of year again—National Honor Society is looking for some great juniors and seniors to become members. The list of eligible students is posted outside of S10 or H43. In order to submit a Candidate Information Packet (CIP) for consideration, you must come to the mandatory meeting Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 6:30 pm in the gym. You need to arrive before 6:30 to allow time to check in and find a seat. Information about NHS and the requirements will be discussed which include a GPA of 3.65 or higher, 60 hours of community service and two leadership positions after the 8th grade. Candidate Information Packets (C.I.P.) are available only for Jr and Sr students who attend the entire Mandatory Information meeting.
The MANDATORY information meeting for Jr & Sr’s to review NHS requirements, leadership & community service is AUGUST 29th , 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the gym.
C.I.P. IS DUE SEPTEMBER 26 TH BY 4:00 P.M. 1 document MAXIMUM; CIP and Evidence PDF UPLOADED TO “Prospective NHS” TEAM assignment. Only students who attended the Mandatory information meeting may upload a C.I.P. for consideration. Document name MUST include student’s Last.first name.Class (jr or sr)
LATE PACKETS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Uploading a Packet in Teams at 4:01 p.m. September 26TH is late and will not be considered for selection.
