Dear Dr. Garrity,
I hope you had a wonderful summer and are enjoying the start of the new school year!
As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, I’d like to confirm the dates for
CAPA’s three annual events. Please let me know if the following dates work with the school calendar:
-
Meet the Principal – Community Room
Friday, September 25, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This gathering provides an opportunity for Chinese American parents to connect with you and the school counselors, hear school updates, and ask questions. -
Chinese New Year Luncheon – Teacher’s Lounge
Friday, February 12, 2027, from 12:30–1:30 p.m.
CAPA would love to celebrate the Lunar New Year by providing lunch for PVPHS teachers and staff. The Lunar New Year holiday runs from February 6 through February 20 in 2027. -
Teacher Appreciation Week Breakfast – Grab-and-Go Style
May 3–7, 2027
CAPA will once again provide a breakfast spread to show our appreciation for the wonderful teachers and staff.
We’re excited to continue these CAPA traditions and appreciate your support. Please
let me know if these dates work for the school.
Warmly,
