HOW TO REGISTER FOR YOUR MAY 2027 AP EXAMS

In order to complete AP exam registration, PVPHS  and PV DLA students must complete each of the following steps. To avoid late fees each of these FOUR steps must be completed by Friday, October 23, 2026.

1. Complete and submit this online AP Exam Registration form
2. Submit payment
   • Exams are $110 each
   • Pay with a credit card in the PVPHS GoFan portal. GoFan will charge a $6.50 processing fee (approximately) per exam.
   • or Bring a check payable to PVPHS AP or cash to the Student Store October 19-23, 2026
3. Join ALL of your AP classes in your College Board account. (Even if you are opting out of the AP exam). Ask your teacher(s) for the necessary Join Code(s). If you are taking an exam as a self-study student you must request a special Join Code from Mrs. Breitenstein [email protected].
4. Ensure that you have listed PV Peninsula High as your school and that your Student ID is correct in your College Board account 
   • Sign in to My AP
   • Go to My AP Profile and select Registration
   • Confirm the school listed as the School You Attend is Palos Verdes Peninsula High in Rolling Hills Estates 
   • Confirm your Student ID listed is not blank and is the 6 digit id # shown on your school ID card
   • If you need to make a change, be sure to click SAVE at the bottom of the page 

NOTE: Seniors enrolled in SPRING semester AP Econ or AP US Government classes will register and pay for those exams in February 2027

WHO CAN TEST AT PV PENINSULA HIGH?

Only PVPHS and PVPUSD DLA students may test at Peninsula High School.

PVPHS and PVPUSD DLA students may take AP exams offered at PVPHS if the student meets one of the following criteria:

1. 1. They are currently enrolled in the corresponding AP course at PVPHS.
   2. They previously completed, or are currently enrolled in, the corresponding AP course at another accredited school or district.
   3. They wish to take an AP examination as a self-study student, provided the exam is appropriate for their grade level and does not require a course-based portfolio or performance assessment and we have space in the testing room.

Students using either criteria 2 or criteria 3 above to qualify to take an AP exam, MUST request a special Join Code from Mrs. Breitenstein [email protected] and use it to join the class in their College Board account.

IF YOU ARE NOT A PVPHS STUDENT or a PVPUSD DLA STUDENT

YOUR EXAM REQUEST WILL NOT BE PROCESSED

AP exams are $110 each. You may pay your fees via GoFan or by bringing check or cash to the Student Store October 19 - 23, 2026.

Note: Students who qualify for an exam discount MUST pay their fees through the Student Store - there is no GoFan option.

All exam fees must be paid by October 23, 2026 to avoid the $50 per exam late fee.
