PVPUSD is pleased to partner with Los Angeles Harbor College to offer a variety of Dual Enrollment courses at Peninsula High School. These courses are offered through the College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) agreement and provide students with original credit on both their PVPUSD high school transcript and their LAHC college transcript. CCAP Dual Enrollment courses are weighted in the high school GPA and do not count toward the PVPUSD policy that limits students to a maximum of 8 semesters of out-of-district credit.
Step-by-step instructions and additional information are available on the LAHC Dual Enrollment website:
https://www.lahc.edu/admissions/dual-enrollment . Please note that students must first complete the LAHC enrollment process before registering for an official Dual Enrollment course section. Information about the LAHC online application can be found here:
https://www.lahc.edu/admissions/apply .

CONCURRENT ENROLLMENTStudents may also take community college courses outside of the Dual Enrollment (CCAP) program. In addition to completing the LAHC application, students must submit the LAHC K–12 Dynamic Form, which must be signed by the student, a parent/guardian, and the high school counselor.
All concurrent enrollment courses must be approved by the student’s counselor in advance. These courses are considered outside credits, will not be weighted in the high school GPA, and count toward the PVPUSD limit of 8 semesters of out-of-district credit.
During the school year, students may not enroll in community college courses that are equivalent to courses offered at PVPHS. Students should consult with their counselor for approval before beginning the enrollment process.
During the summer, students may take any community college courses they choose. However, if a course is intended to meet a high school graduation requirement, students must confirm course equivalency with their counselor in advance.
After completing a course, students can add the credits to their PVPHS transcript by requesting that the community college send an official transcript to our PVPHS registrar, Mr. Cordova, at
