TRYOUT INFORMATION
CHOREO BOOTCAMP: Wednesday April 16th 3:30-5:30 North Dance Room. Registration Form (below) and $20 due the day of bootcamp but you can mail registration and payment Attn: Mrs. Tsudama Peninsula High School 27118 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates CA 90274 by Friday April 4th. Find the form on the school website under Choreo Company web pages. Audition Meeting taking place afterwards to review try out information and team expectations.
AUDITION will take place the week of April 30-May 2. Workshop days- Wednesday April 30 and Thursday May 1 3:45-6pm Audition Day Friday May 2nd 3:30 to last group.
Please complete the DANCE DEPARTMENT APPLICATION and submit it by Friday April 25th
Audition Attire: Black workout attire- Top and bottoms, dance shoes, hair out of face.
ABOUT OUR TEAM
Choreo Company is the highest level of technical dance offered at PVPHS. They train in jazz, contemporary and hip hop and perform at a variety of venues. Choreo Company performs at pep rallies, Homecoming, produces a full-scale concert called Momentum in April, and The Last Chance To Dance Showcase at the end of the year. In addition to performing, students have an opportunity to explore their own self expression and do their own choreography.
Choreo counts as PE credit in 9th and 10th grade and as a fine art class in 11th and 12th grade. Choreo Company only practices during the school day making it a perfect class to pursue other interests in addition to dance.
