SoCalROC Information

Southern California Regional Occupational Center (SoCalROC) is an outstanding program/facility located at 2300 Crenshaw Blvd in Torrance.  SoCalROC provides the opportunity for students to earn high school credit while exploring college and career interests, developing practical skills, and potentially earning certifications.  Fortunately, there are plenty of amazing options, including health care, engineering, automotive technology, welding, design, and much more!

For many students, SoCalROC is not just a pathway into the workforce. Students use their experiences to explore possible college majors, confirm or reconsider career interests, build technical and professional skills, and add meaningful hands-on experience to their preparation for four-year universities and other postsecondary opportunities.

A Regional Occupational Center (ROC) is a public education program that works in partnership with multiple school districts to provide specialized career-focused instruction. This regional model gives students access to industry-standard equipment, experienced instructors, and technical programs that may not be available at their individual high schools.
