NHS also offers individual tutoring on a regular basis where we can partner your student with an experienced tutor. Math tutoring is offered zero period, Monday-Friday in room S44 with Ms. Vijaiyan. This is a free tutoring service for all PVPHS students. Ms. Vijaiyan will be covering all subjects through Precalculus Honors.
Math tutoring is offered in the Learning Center FREE after school, Mondays – Thursdays, from 2:45pm-4:00pm with Ms. Williams. Classes available for tutoring in the Learning Center are Essentials of Algebra (A and B), Algebra 1, and Geometry MCR.

Peer Tutor Referral List: A list of current students who offer tutoring is available at the front counter in the Counseling Office. The list provides contact info and area of expertise. It is your responsibility to contact the tutor and coordinate a meeting time and payment.
SBUT Tutoring –You can visit the SBUT Tutoring website for information about hiring a private tutor. The following information is taken directly from their website: “Many of the members of South Bay United Teachers provide private tutoring. This program is strictly an agreement between the teacher and the individual requesting services. All tutoring parameters are set by the teacher (location, time, cost).”
