SAT and ACT Exams

Many of the 4-year colleges and universities are choosing to continue the Test Optional or Test Free/Blind policies set in place during the 2020-2021 school year due to COVID-19 limitations. Test Optional means there will be NO negative impact for not having/providing test scores with your application. Test Free/Blind means they will not accept or use your test scores in the acceptance decision. Please make sure the colleges you are applying to will use your test scores prior to deciding to take SAT/ACT tests. Please know that UC's and CSUs are test Free for Admissions decisions and Scholarship Awards. Click here for a full list of test optional schools.
