Grades on aeries have been updated with the point total from all assignment submitted via Schoology.  Please take a moment to check grades on aeries. 

 

It is not too late to turn in late work on Schoology and raise your grade in AVID.  When you submit late work to Schoology, Mr. Spalding will be notified and will grade the late work and give generous partial credit (for work that is done well).  Please check your Schoology account and look for....

• Virtual (Zoom) Tutorials are starting this Wednesday.  
• Groups will be small (2-3 kids maximum)
• This is a great way to get personalized help with your classwork.
• Students that do tutorial will turn in their TRF to Schoology after tutorial for credit.
• If you are not interested, then you can do one of the other 2 options listed above that will help you prepare for your content classes (study guide or focused notes)

1. Agenda Book (10 points) - Upload photos of your agenda book for this week and last week to Schoology.com
   
   • DUE:  Tuesday 4/14 by midnight
2. Prep Work For Content Classes (30 points)
   • Choose ONE of the following and submit to Schoology by Friday at midnight:
     • A 2 page study guide for a content class
     • 2 pages of focused notes for a content class
     • Attend a zoom tutorial session on Wednesday (see below for more info)... you will submit your completed TRF & notes from tutorial session to Schoology.
3. Top 10 College List - One Pager
   • Link to the Top 10 College List One Pager 
   • This is due Friday by midnight and will be submitted on Schoology.com
   • To complete this assignment, you will refer to the Top 10 College List that you have already created.
   • The goal here is to greatly make your Top 10 List as concise and clean as possible.
   • In 5 months, you will be applying to college.  It would be very wise to take your time with this assignment and really perfect your Top 10 list
4. Essay (Due NEXT week on Friday 4/24....so you have 2 weeks to do this).  
   • Do ONE of the following and turn in to Schoology.com.
     • 1.  Write a 1 page essay on ONE of the following prompt:  "What I miss most from my pre-COVID 19 life is......"
     • 2.  Read the following article and answer the prompt:  "Is calculator inequality impacting some students’ educational trajectory? Why or why not?  Is the College Board’s calculator policy fair and reasonable?  Should it remain the same?"
