what time is it hello I'm Johnson and then there's me my name is Andrew many I'm also a junior and I play as the JV goalie so why don't you guys join pin water polo 6 years so pain isn't the first place for me but you know it's definitely my favorite how much do Andrew time-in is so far but when it comes to water polo I've been doing it for around three years I started in seventh grade and I just recently became a goalie and I just loved like the team and communication that I guess with the rest of the players yes so what what's it like playing on that the pain team important sense of camaraderie and I think that's very important because you know you can obviously Play Just you want to play but being part of something more for me at least is really important because I just I feel like having that kind of bond and being able to play with people that you can really trust is really important yeah I completely agree with that when it comes to trust is the most important thing they need to Bill adime and when you have that trust you know what each each and every one of your players are going to be doing so then once you get a sense of what everyone's role and position is then I like all the puzzle pieces come together just have one really strong team has pain different than Club cuz I believe both of you guys did play Club water polo it's very it's more focused on individual Talent rather than when it comes to pain we're more of a team and we often work together yeah and it's like when you're in club other isn't full yet Schleich I guess each other but like you don't really get to work together that often ugly stuff like that and has Jonathan said when it comes to pain you get a lot more team experience and dust he gets better and your team skill is water so how's the coaching at Penn I'd say you know the head coach Coach K he is very he knows what he wants out of the team and he really wants you to pick a roll and I can get behind that because you know he often says to just compete because we're not the strongest team we're not the fastest team but he makes it so even if we're not going to win definitely going to give the other team like a really hard time so do you think the pain coaching staff gets the most out of you guys every single day every single practice we usually do as much as he can have the most fun and like kind of like balance having like the good time versus getting a good session out of our practice and all the main goal is to Technics because yet again pain is more known for their academic side rather than through supportive side and so we can use our knowledge to our advantage and actually out player enemies So speaking to academics and balance Summit how do you balance water polo and and school Jonathan for me so obviously there's a time for school and there's a time for water polo and I balance it accordingly you know school always comes first but you know we often you have to compete are are the coaches supportive of the academics and E Merced first but there are times where you Ashley needs you and like some free time that you have you actually need to put your in there and so then most your day is just most your day you just had are you studying water polo so that play you learn how to balance it out it it obviously has to come with time and then you're on schedule but after a while you'll know how to manage your time and found something like Angie said doesn't just come with water polo in school applied to anything honestly I think it's really valuable skill to learn so if I'm an 8th grader and I'm trying to decide you know whether or not I want to you know play water polo pan or maybe another school you know what would you tell me for me I didn't have you know the best friends but coming into water polo I was able to make bond that would last a lifetime and I think that's a really valuable you know going through your life and even if you don't want to meet white water pool is still a good exercise so Andy how would you welcome the new Russia unlike anything else it's like if I basketball but in Water and Light instead of having Hoops you have like a soccer goal it is like one of the best workouts could ever have when it comes to the store to get you into really good shape and the wonderful team is at 10 Dr welcome to just new freshman and like we always like try to like look at them introduced to the whole entire team make you feel comfortable and make them feel accepted and open whatever they want and in fact usually roll because a lot of freshmen waffle as a first choice boat the last thing Jonathan if you could sum up pen water polo in one what would it be and why forearm water polo we never back down it's always we do our best we get out there and we leave it on the water how much is a penny think I would say like play water polo is a sport that I mean you need to develop skills and strengths and I'd only strength but communication with your team and self commitment can sound like a harsh word making sound like a tedious but it really isn't water polo come join waterfalls you please leave love to have you
