1.	Breaking Down the Walls last week – two assemblies/entire school and 3 days where between 150-200 students and staff participated each day.  
2.	Introduce the three points – leave it better than when you found it, you do not truly understand anyone’s challenges, celebrating and recognizing what someone has done for you.
3.	Leave it better than when you found it – picking up trash to a conversation.  This is kind of like the challenge to not complain for an entire day.  Some of you just did it.
4.	You do not truly understand someone else challenges – we all have struggles, so may be apparent, but many are hidden.  It is critical to be empathetic and understanding of the people around you.  No matter how big of a smile they may have on their face, you will never truly now what they are dealing with.  Or they may look as grumpy as ever, but you do not know what happened with them this morning, last night, or the text they just received.
5.	The power of recognizing and celebrating something that another individual has done for you.  They did this in the assembly, it could be a fellow student, staff, or even a parent.  Telling someone that you appreciate them is the greatest gift you can give them, and at the same time will put you in a better mood.
6.	So I challenge you panthers to  - leave it better than when you found it, be empathetic to what someone else may be dealing with, and finally take the time to recognize those people around you that have made a positive influence on your life, it will make both you and them feel great.  And finally, if you don’t remember anything else, try the “no complaining” challenge and go an entire day without complaining.  Then reflect on how that day was different than any other.
