(Cinco De Mayo:  A Celebration of Mexican Heritage History)

Absent Students:  Today we drew a map and gave 5 directions explaining how to get from point A to point B.  The doesn't does not have to be of a real city.  You can draw a pretend city as in p.285 #9.  You must include the Subjunctive at least one time, and use as much of the vocabulary found in the "Vocabulario" blue box under Act.#8 p.285 on this assignment.  Please show me with a high-lighter or arrows, how you got from point A to B.  See the model on Act. 8 as a reference.  Make one similar.  

Absent students:  Today we reviewed the Irregular Conditional Verbs and completed pp.107,108 Activities F,G,H in the Spanish 2 year book.  Turned in all work today.

Absent students:  Read Gramatica on page 284 and complete Activity #8 (1-10) applying the rules you just read.  This is trabajo de la clase that you will turn in today.  (Reference:  Stem-changing -ir verbs in the subjunctive)

Absent students:  Today we presented our Hotel and Tourist skit.  Student provided me with a written copy of this skit before the memorized presentation.  

Be sure to use as much vocabulary from 4-1 and the present subjunctive.

Absent students:  Today we worked on our 4-1 hotel and tourist skit in groups of 2 and will present them tomorrow.  Be sure to have a least 10 sentences in the entire skit and incorporate vocabulary words form 4-1.  Each student must use use the Subjunctive tense at least 1 time each.  

Absent Students:  Today we completed p.266 #14 textbook applying the present tense on the left column to the subjunctive mode on the right column.  Students turned this in today as trabajo de la clase.   We also read p.268,269 and answered p.269 Comprendiste on our classwork  and p.269 Que Piensas in our apuntes.  These are more questions that may appear on Fridays written part of the examen 4-1.

Trabajo de clase was to 1)write the vocabulary verb phrases titled "Tell someone what to do" found on p.221 in all three tenses Present, Preterite and Imperfect and translate the phrases to English. Ex:  Barro el piso = I sweep the floor/Barri el piso = I swept the floor/Barria el piso = I used to sweep the floor .

2) Then, you need to prepare and written and oral activity over the words on p.202 and 203 that explains what each item in the photos are. Ex:  "Esta es una quemadura", "Estas son unas olas" (you must use the correct gender and number of the demonstrative adjectives and indefinite articles).  

Tarea:  Present the oral portion of the second activity tomorrow in class at my desk. 

Absent students:  Today we completed the film study and worked on "Analisis hand-out".
