Vocabulary Building (156 & 169): Review the rules for using Comparative & Superlative Adjectives in the text book (184)
1st semester, we worked a lot with Adjectives--a part of speech used to describe a noun or pronoun. Now you will work with Comparative & Superlative Adjectives:
Adjectives: Comparatives -er & Superlatives -est (156)
-er & -est are suffixes: suffixes are added to the end of a word
Examples: Andrew is fast! Kozy is faster than Andrew. But Seimei is the fastest of all!
Irregular Adjectives: Comparatives -er & Superlatives -est (168)
these Comparative & Superlative Adjectives DO NOT add -er & -est:
good, bad, much & little
Examples: Andrew is a good runner. But Kozy is better than Andrew. And Seimei is the best runner of all!

Grammar (168): Review the rules for using Comparative & Superlative Adjectives in the text book (184)
