CAASPP
The CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress) exam is administered to all high school juniors statewide each year.
For the 2025 CAASPP exam, our students ranked 29th in the entire state for English Language Arts and 33rd for Math—placing us in the top 1.5% of all high schools in California. Even more impressively, these rankings include selective magnet schools that admit students based on academic performance, which makes our accomplishment even more extraordinary.

What makes this achievement truly special is that it reflects the success of all Panthers—not just students in honors or AP classes. Nearly 90% of our students scored proficient or above, meaning that 9 out of 10 students at PVPHS are meeting or exceeding state standards. This is a testament to the hard work, resilience, and talent of our students—and the dedication, expertise, and heart of our teachers and staff who support them every step of the way.
