New Student Events & Information
Scheduling for Private School Students
Scheduling for incoming students from private schools and out of district schools will be on campus by appointment in April 2026. These students must have already completed the enrollment process with our registrar Daniel Cordova (more information on enrolling can be found HERE).
Registration
All Peninsula students must go through Registration at the start of the school year. During Registration, students will come to the gym to turn in several required forms and get their id cards and books, and come to counseling if there are any scheduling issues. More information about Registration Day will be mailed home in July.
Orientation
All Freshmen and incoming transfer students are invited to Orientation - a fun filled morning providing new students with important information about our campus. This event is run by our Link Crew leadership group. Orientation usually takes place the day after Registration Day in mid August.
First Day of School
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 26, 2026. It will be a minimum day schedule.
Request for Placement
Purpose: Use this form to request placement in a course beyond the next level if you do not meet the listed prerequisites.
Important - Recommended Course Sequence: The school’s designated course sequence is carefully designed based on the foundational skills required for student success. Deviating from this sequence is highly discouraged and should only be considered in rare circumstances. Following the recommended prerequisites is the best predictor of student achievement and long-term academic success. Please see the Course Description Handbook to find prerequisites.
