Welcome to Peninsula High School Counseling

The Counseling Department utilizes a systematic approach for providing pertinent information to students. By having the same counselor throughout high school, continuity is maintained and counselors build on gathered information to reinforce individual expectations.

Counselors see students whenever there is a concern. Situations are brought to the counselor’s attention by a teacher, an administrator, a parent/guardian, or by another student. Students may request to see a counselor whenever they have a need. For an appointment, students complete the Request to See Counselor form available in the Counseling Office. Students are seen as time permits. In the event of an emergency, students will be seen at once. Parents should feel free to contact counselors, as well. Assistance may be given via the phone, e-mail, or with an appointment via Zoom/Teams or office visit.
